"Around the table"
On 10 October 2014, a fund-raising gala dinner held by HealthServe Limited ended off successfully with the sponsoring of door gifts by Lam Soon bars of Labour soap – to appreciate and honour the contribution of migrant workers to Singapore.

Street food heritage
“900 days, 110 hawker centres,1000 hours interview ”
The company had Knife brand as the exclusive sponsor for the “Not for Sale : Singapore’s Remaining Street Food Vendors” book. The official launch was on 18 July 2013 as part of Singapore’s Heritage Fest and was partially funded by National Heritage Board. The book has the most complete documentation of Singapore's street food vendors that celebrates local hawker food, which is part of Singaporeans’ daily life. |

Scholarship awards
In partnership with Republic Polytechnic School of Hospitality, Lam Soon awarded a Scholarship to the student, Zachery Yeo for achieving excellence in his academics.

Temasek polytechnic
The campus lecturers and students from the School of Business went to Pasir Gudang factory and Senai Distribution Centre in Malaysia in June 2011. With the arrangements made by Lam Soon, they were able to gain more knowledge in the company’s manufacturing facilities and the day-to-day operations at their distribution centre throughout the visit.

Being supportive of the Home Economics lessons as part of the holistic education, Lam Soon has been offering a range of products to Secondary Schools.

Northlight retail
The setting up of 2 virtual retail stores in NorthLight compound was assisted by Lam Soon, as part of the collaboration with the school. It was meant for educational purposes in which products are put on-shelves to provide a realistic scenario and environment of supermarket for students under the Retail Operation Course. Teachers and students also visited the company’s office and warehouse in November 2011 as part of the school’s learning journey.
